1. Abhyanga classic massage

February 3-5, 2017

20 hours

Ayurvedic full body massage with warm oil, that detoxifies the body. It is used as part of Panchakarma. It regenerates, rejuvenates and alleviates pains in the muscles, joints and the spine. It builds up the nervous and immune systems with the use of proper oils for every dosha. This massage regenerates the tissues inside and outside and boosts body vitality.

The course includes:

  • the history of Ayurvedic massage
  • introduction to anatomy
  • indications and contraindications
  • practice

2. Therapeutic Ayurvedic full body massage

March 10-12, 2017

24 hours

t is not only an incredibly relaxing massage, but most of all, it is a therapeutic massage that regenerates the muscles, releases the stress and detoxifies the body. It is applied as part of Panchakarma. It is performed with warm oil, sesame usually, that penetrates deep into the skin and intensively nourishes it. Such technique supports blood and lymphatic systems. It stimulates the skin and muscles and also enhances the cell regeneration through toxin elimination.

3. Shirodhara massage and face massage

April 7-9, 2017

20 hours

Shirodhara is a nervous system balancing treatment that harmonizes the energies of the mind and body. The treatment effectiveness is based on repeatability, as it often happens the first treatment is a chance to get familiar with the new, unusual therapy, and the relaxation comes only with following treatments.

It stimulates the body natural power of self-healing. It relaxes, improves memory and concentration and relieves the mental tension.

Face massage can be performed at the end of other massage or as a separate massage.

The course includes:

  • introduction to nervous system
  • introduction to the subject of oils used in the massage
  • types of Shirodhara
  • indications and contraindications
  • practice

 

4. Yoga massage – two modules

May 12-14, 2017 and June 16-18, 2017

48 hours in total

During this massage we stimulate the nerves in a way that the excess of energy is relieved from the spine. We help to unlock the flow of energy in the body that manifests itself in stiffness. When the body is stretched properly, the energy flows freely. Yoga massage prepares the body for yoga very well.

The course includes:

5. Marma massage – two modules

September 1-3, 2017 and October 6-8, 2017

48 hours in total

The massage focusing on 107 marma points located in the human body. According to Ayurveda marma points are very special spots in the body. Once they are opened the energy is being absorbed and stored in the points. Energy is floating freely, body and mind remain healthy. The pain that occurs when marma points are pressed signals the energy is not circulating well and is blocked. The massage aims at unlocking the points and clearing out the flow of energy in the body. Gentle massage of those points brings relaxation and strengthens entire body. More intense marma massage opens and restores balance to marma points, releases emotional deposits in the body and unlocks emotions.

6. Kati Vasti massage and Pinda Sweda massage

November 3-5, 2017

24 hours

Kati Vasti is a spine treatment with oils. It helps to treat chronic back pain. Natural, warm oils infused with healing herbs are used in the treatment. It is relieves the pain and all tensions in the body, relaxes and regenerates the spine. The massage is performed mainly on the lumbar spine but can be applied to any part of the spine or bigger joints, such as the knees, hips or shoulder blades. The herbal oils are absorbed by the skin nourishing the muscles and nerves and allow the natural curves of the spine to be maintained.

Pinda Sweda treatment combines a massage and sweat therapy. It is used with musculoskeletal problems like rheumatoid arthritis. The body with its aching joints and muscles is massaged energetically with warm herbal boluses, that drain the toxins and bring relief to aches and tension in the disease affected areas. It perfectly lessens the stiffness of neck and shoulders. Thanks to the herbs and oils that bags are filled with the skin gets nourished and soft.

The course includes:

  • introduction to herbal oils in Ayurveda
  • learning how to prepare herbal oil on your own
  • massage relieving the lower spine pain that prepares for Kati Vasti
  • indications and contraindications
  • practice

 

7. Udvartana massage

20 hours

It is a deep, intense treatment with use of herbal powders. Udvarthanam is recomended especially for disorders related to Kapha dosha. The massage opens blood vessels, facilitates metabolic activity and improves skin complexion. It aids deep skin cleansing and callus removal and improves microcirculation. It supports the elimination of toxins from the body. Most often Udvartana is used during being on a diet, reducing cellulite or in case of skin lesion or excessive perspiration. It builds up muscular system and contributes to the overall improvement of skin condition and body shape.

The course includes:

  • Dieting from Ayurveda perspective
  • ways to improve metabolism
  • indications and contraindications
  • practice
