This is the second part of the mini-cycle „Business Based on Love”. In the first one you read what it means to be a beacon for business. You learned about love and abundance marketing. The series is based on my conversation with Elena Herdieckerhoff, who is an intuitive business coach. Welcome to the second part of our conversation. Read about taming your fear and creating your own reality.

Maria: I remember once in another interview you admitted that your natural tendency was fear. I remember it very well because I am always extremely moved when I see people who are as calm and grounded as you are right now, and I know there is a lot of work behind it.

Elena: It’s true. My natural tendency is anxiety. My immediate response from the body is anxiety, but after years of working on myself, through a spiritual journey, through trauma-based therapies, I’ve gotten to the point where that doesn’t govern me anymore. I see it, it’s okay, I feel it, and then I choose a different path. It doesn’t mean the fear goes away, it never went away for me. It’s still there.

Sometimes it doesn’t come, but depending on the situation, sometimes it does. Nevertheless, I do not change under his influence. I don’t say, „Oh God, why is this happening to me.” I accept it, honor the part of myself that might be terrified of the result, and it’s absolutely normal. I wouldn’t like to recommend any spiritual avoidance here.

Allow yourself to feel

Feel what you are feeling, allow what you feel to be present, and then select a higher level of awareness. Choose to let go. And if you feel your body tense, fine, but then open your fists and let the higher vibrations take over again. That’s how I did it and it’s a matter of practice. It’s like going to the gym, you can’t be there once and it’s over. You have to go there many times.

I think repetition makes it more realistic. Sometimes when people hear these things, they say, „This is not real for me”, „I’m too scared”, „I have too many problems”, „Not enough money, I can’t pay my rent.” But fear is true for all of us, only on different levels. But love is also real. And you can choose between one state and the other each time. It’s really a matter of choice.

Maria: I love this story because it is a story about Ayurveda. You honor the part in you that is connected to certain emotions and that can be challenging, can be difficult, but at the same time you can develop another part. And they can coexist together. And instead of blocking yourself, you can go hand in hand with fear, anxiety, anger or whatever it is that belongs to you and is part of you. The point is not to get rid of them, but rather to acknowledge and follow these companions.

Elena: Yes. I think when we wait for the day when we are completely fearless, it will be the day when we will no longer exist in physical reality. This is an unrealistic expectation. But what is realistic is to choose differently. And that’s something we can do.

Maria: And that’s something we can still do, in this whole story about being limited, about denying opportunities that were once part of our way of life, we can still choose trust, love and freedom.

Gratitude and the power to create

Elena: Yes, and a sense of gratitude in the heart. Maybe you are not doing what you would like to do. For example, I would like to go to Paris to meet my friends because I have been visiting them for 10 years at about this time of the year. And I love it. But this year I can’t do it.

What I can do is arrange a zoom with them, I can cook myself a french dish, I can watch a movie that is set in Paris. I can still create experiences to cheer up the part of me that would like to go but can’t. You can be creative in finding solutions. Of course, this is a down-to-earth example, but it also works for more serious stuff.

You can create your own reality and that means you are flexible. You are flexible and you give up. You see, any business can reinvent itself and you don’t have to look at what you’ve lost. You can look at what you have created that you have not even thought about before.

Maria: It’s also a choice not to be a victim. Don’t complain, just grab your creative power as an entrepreneur, as a woman and create something. You have created the „Love Leaders” program in which you work with entrepreneurs who spread light to customers. I wonder how do you see women who run their business, especially now? What is their role they play?

This is the time

Elena: You are right when you say that women are in a beautiful place right now because we always have the power to create. Now is the time for us to enter the state of the highest love for humanity, love for the planet, love for the family, but also for ourselves. To bring out a nursing, creating, and caring strength and seek deeply what medicine you can pass on to the world. Every woman has a cure. And this medicine is a unique combination of gifts, life support, experiences, dreams, soul, guidance. If these all bring it together, it could be a beacon.

The beautiful thing is that if we become a beacon for others, we also illuminate ourselves. The lantern is also bright inside. What you give to others, you automatically give to yourself. This is what I call the guidance of love. If you really rise to the vibration of love and choose and create from there, then everyone around you, including yourself, will be lifted up.

Maria: Yes, I felt it very well during my work with you. Letting go of the controls and rigid rules that I had in my head about running my business. It can really be liberating and resulting in a lot more in an easier way, and giving you rest after all.

Elena: Yes, and you, like no one else made an amazing impression on me. Your journey and your courage to be more truthful with yourself. I think for a lot of women now, like you, it’s a comeback home for who they really are. Without paying attention to what others will think. And without worrying that you are doing something different or risky, if you feel the guidance in your heart to do something, now is the time to do it.

Anyone reading it now – listen to that little voice in your head whispering: try it, do it, share it, put out this video about your experience, share your special healing technique, share the magic that only you know, that you have. Now is the time. People say there will be a big leap in consciousness at some point. Something dramatic will happen in the future. It is happening now. Today.

We have all come here because we have the opportunity to make a real contribution to humanity. The only way we can do this is if we show this incredible courage in our heart to be truthful with ourselves. And be truthful in what we know will help people. And just go out, do, start talking, share, sell.

The voice of intuition

Maria: Yes. I can see the big words „Believe yourself”. I see you saying, „Yes, you are right”, „Yes, you can rest”, „Yes, your intuition tells you well”, „You can follow that voice that you hear in your heart.”

Elena: Yes, this is our highest voice. That whispering voice that is not as clear as the voice of fear. But that whispering voice in the back of your head, that’s the voice of love, it’s the voice of your highest self. If you listen to that voice, you can trust it. 

Don’t listen to what’s around you, it’s noises, it’s fears. That’s not true. The truth is always in love. You’re right. The key message from me, especially to women, is that they can trust each other and free themselves from doubts.

Doubt is the killer of their dreams and the talents we have. If we doubt ourselves, this book that could change people’s lives will never see the light of day. Even save a life. A recording that you know you could have made that someone might need to hear at that moment. Don’t keep your soul medicine because you are terrified of what others may feel or say. The time has come to trust that what we know is true and share it.

Maria: Beautiful. Really beautiful. Thank you so much for that, because the intention behind this event was that women who feel a bit weird, not like most, would feel it’s okay.

It’s okay to feel like this, it’s okay to feel inspired, it’s okay to have an idea of ​​how to share this light. It is very necessary to be in touch with other lanterns to remind yourself that you are not a strange person. You are the right person at the right time to shine.

Inspiration and courage

Elena: Yes, and I think it is an amazing gift to organize a community around such an event. When we see one woman doing it, another woman doing it, we start to think „oh, maybe I can do it too.” We need stories from others who have already done so. We need to see that nobody knew how to do it from the beginning. This is a journey for everyone.

And the more we can do with other women, each of them brave in their own way, the more we can say „I can do this too.” And it helps to increase confidence in your own voice when we see that someone has done it as well.

Maria: Especially in those spaces, those situations where you can see, feel and speak. I mean mastermind together or working with a mentor or coach. Online courses are perfect. I love them. I create one by one, but being 1: 1 or in a group with other women, with other people in the same room, at the same time is magical.

Elena: I think you are absolutely right in pointing to this difference. For me, an online course on information transfer and a coaching group or work 1: 1 is about transformation. And we need a second person for this power of transformation.

The difference between information and transformation is huge and I think information is needed now, it is a tool for doing specific things, or learning specific things, or achieving specific goals.

I love doing online courses all the time. And whatever I want to learn or change in my life, I sign up for an online course. But I know that when I reach the limit of my understanding, I need transformation, and then I enlist the help of others.
